Bollinger Appoints Bollinger as Lee C. Bollinger Director of Public Safety

Dear fellow members of the Columbia community:

I write to announce that Lee C. Bollinger will be rejoining the Columbia community as the Lee C. Bollinger Director of Columbia Public Safety.

Lee C. Bollinger is a dedicated servant of the Columbia community and a man I have admired personally for countless years. He has always spoken truth to power and believed that Columbia University is safer when the entirety of the surrounding neighborhood has been converted into Columbia University. He has even promised to use the personal fortune that he has amassed throughout his tenure to purchase real estate in the area to speed up the process.

Director Bollinger will work closely with an extraordinary staff of highly competent security officers, proficient in the task of keeping our campus safe and secure. His purpose will be to ensure the safety of every Columbia affiliate; he will pursue this policy by any means necessary––trust me, I know the guy.

Therefore, I am extraordinarily pleased to announce this appointment, and to again congratulate the outgoing president of Columbia University, Lee C. Bollinger, on his many years of service.

Sincerely,

Lee C. Bollinger
