I’m a(n) [ADJECTIVE] student at Columbia, where I’m majoring in [MAJOR].
My passion for this field sparked in my [SCHOOL SUBJECT] course: Professor [RANDOM LAST NAME], a [NUMBER]-time [WHITE LAST NAME], award recipient for their research in [VERB ENDING IN -ING or NOUN], wrote a single quote on the chalkboard:
“[FAMOUS QUOTE].”
This profound statement made me reflect on my entire life: when I was only [NUMBER] years old — clueless in this world and still wearing a [ARTICLE OF CLOTHING] — I [PAST TENSE VERB] in [LOCATION] after [VERB]ing with a(n) [NOUN]. A nearby [NOUN] then came up and told me that what I did was the [SUPERLATIVE] thing they’d ever [PAST TENSE VERB]. I felt like a [NOUN].
This experience made me [FEELING ENDING IN ‘ED’] to pursue a career as a [PROFESSION], and I’ve been [VERB]ing toward that goal ever since. At Columbia, I’m [ADVERB] involved on campus as the [OCCUPATION] for Columbia’s [NOUN or ADJECTIVE] [VERB]ing Society, among others.
