Columbia Mail Informs Students Packages Over 2lbs Will Be Dumped Into the Hudson

Students are in outrage upon discovering that, after the failure of its email system and subsequent mail backup, Columbia’s Mail Room decided that any package weighing over 2lbs will be redirected straight into the Hudson River.

One CC Junior told The Fed: “I mean, first, their email system broke, and they didn’t tell any of us, so we just didn’t really know what was going on with that. Then, like two weeks ago, I ordered a Desktop Organizer, and instead of being told that it had been delivered, I got a message a few days ago saying it was now at the bottom of the Hudson. They sent me a confirmation image of a box with my name on it sinking into the water. I didn’t even know their email system was back up.”

When reached out for a response, Columbia Mail Center sent an email back saying, “Sorry, our email is down, so we didn’t see your message, and we also can’t respond to that.”
