3. Where are you from?
   1. If you are from the same state: What city are you from?
   2. If you are from the same city: What neighborhood are you from?
   3. If you are from the same neighborhood: What house do you live in?
   4. If you are from the same house: Remind your mother that you are in college now and need space and independence. 
4. What clubs are you joining?
5. Mom, can you please go away? I’m trying to make friends.
6. I’m sorry about my mom. What’s your Instagram?
7. Fine, Mom, I’ll ask. Do you want to do lunch sometime?

Final (and most important!) step: Never talk to them again and avoid eye contact in the elevator. Thankfully, your mom would love to do lunch!
