Barnard LeFreak Center for Well-Being Advertises New Offerings

In honor of the first anniversary of Barnard’s LeFreak Center, the wellness center will be offering new complimentary perks for students on the 145 Flex meal plan and above. Qualifying students can now receive trauma-informed acupuncture using recycled needles courtesy of our Eco-Reps. Veneer consultations will also be available, with custom sets available for purchase using additional meal swipes. Due to recent reports in height insecurity, Barnard invited renowned leg-lengthening surgeon, Dr. Patella, to teach students how to perform the procedures with a focus on autonomy and self-empathetic pain-mitigation practices.

Students may also apply to the LeFreak Fellowship Program, where they can learn a hands-on approach to wellness by performing procedures on their peers. LeFreak Fellows will gain useful everyday skills such as bloodletting, appendectomies, and trepanation, while also forging  a closer relationship with their fellow students in the intimate, state-of-the-art operating rooms.
Visit barnard.edu/francine-lefrak-center-well-being for more information on applying to the fellowship. Students with Barnard job grants are eligible to apply for paid test subject roles in preparation for next year’s offerings, including lobotomies and iron lung installations.
