Now, when you assemble your sandwich, you’re in charge. Whether or not your 12-inch sub features a nice, precise cut down its juicy center is entirely up to you!
Some diners say the mouthfeel of a cut sandwich is better—after all, you can get right at the meat! Others prefer the entire sub intact, especially if they can fit the whole thing in their mouth. Some people even like to take in their sandwich while it’s still in the paper—wrapped up, nice and snug, and protected from the elements.
It’s important to remember that both cut and uncut sandwiches are perfectly normal! It’s okay to have a preference, but we don’t want people to get the idea that we’re endorsing sandwich cutting. We firmly believe that this is a personal decision that should be left up to the consumer of the sandwich, which is why we’ve chosen to make this choice explicit.
