Hubert Brown (SEAS ’29) from Cupertino, CA, has ditched the three nonprofits he founded in high school to focus on his new college consulting company that helps high school students get admitted into their top choice schools.
When speaking with The Fed to promote his growing operation, Brown explains, “My LinkedIn profile, which lists Columbia University, attended 2025 – 2029, speaks for my strong and very reliable qualifications.” Brown also expressed his profound excitement to step onto campus this fall for the first time after Admitted Students Day.
Some free insider college admissions advice he decided to give readers of The Fed and Columbia student hopefuls include:
- Write and publish a book with ChatGPT.
- Move to a flyover state or Alaska.
- Have rich and famous parents.
When talking to potential clients over Zoom, Brown sports a Columbia sweatshirt and sets a stock image of campus as his virtual background to further emphasize his credentials in college consulting.
Brown’s first successful client, his brother, Cornell, has already secured a spot in the Columbia class of 2031. Despite this client’s 3.2 GPA and lack of extracurriculars, Brown’s counseling expertise was more than adequate. If you want success like Cornell, Brown is now open for client applications, provided your dream school already has a building displaying your parents’ names.
