In the (Morningside) Heights: Lin-Manuel Miranda Announced as Bacchanal Supporting Artist

In an internal memo obtained by The Federalist, it’s been revealed that the Bacchanal supporting artist will be none other than the Tony-award-winning artist Lin-Manuel Miranda. Miranda is best known for the Broadway musical, Hamilton, as well as the musical (and movie) In the Heights. Miranda has also created hits in Disney movies such as Moana and Encanto

It has been widely speculated by Columbia’s sizeable theater-nerd population that Miranda will be performing some of Hamilton’s greatest hits. Some songs to study up for are “Alexander Hamilton,” “My Shot,” and “Non-Stop.” For a tearjerker, he might belt “It’s Quiet Uptown.”

Bacchanal’s choice of Miranda signals a departure from their recent artist selections, which are typically in the realm of rap, such as Doechii and this year’s headliner, JID. Who knows? Perhaps next year, we’ll get the cast of Glee!
