Climate Protesters Leave Low Library To Give Other Groups a Turn

LOW LIBRARY – Six members of Columbia Divest for Climate Justice (CDCJ) abruptly halted their occupation of Low Library on Friday in order to give other social justice groups a turn.  Sources say that groups such as Student-Worker Solidarity and Students for Justice in Palestine have been impatiently queuing up for the space.  “I don’t get why CDCJ gets to hog all the good sit-in spots on campus,” said Annie Simpson CC ’19, a member of multiple groups belonging to the Barnard Columbia Solidarity Network.  “They didn’t even book the space on UEM online.”
